Ball Bearings Thin Section
A thin section ball bearing is a single row bearing with a cage that evenly spaces the balls for even load distribution and prevents contact to reduce friction, vibrations, and noise. Thin section bearings are commonly made with inner and outer races made of chrome steel for durability and resistance to deformity under heavy loads.Ball Bearing Description. The radial contact bearing is a single-row radial ball-bearing of conventional design with a Conrad-type assembly. The bearing is assembled by eccentric displacement of the inner race within the outer race, permitting insertion of about half of a full complement of balls.
Thin Section Ball Timken’s precision thin section bearing line offers high accuracy and low profile design in standard stainless steel or chrome steel configurations. This line includes deep groove and angular contact configurations with special features available to meet specific application requirements.
